We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as Lake Erie Lens Photography! We’re Amy and Michael, the duo behind the lens. This summer, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of marriage—a decade filled with love, laughter, and countless snapshots of life’s most precious moments.

A decade can pass in the blink of an eye. One moment, your little ones are just kids, and before you know it, they’re teenagers, then adults starting families of their own. Life is filled with milestones worth celebrating, and each one is a memory in the making—a chapter in your family’s story.

Wouldn’t it be amazing to freeze those moments in time? To hold onto them forever? A reminder of what’s important in this life. Your family and friends.

Photography has been a passion of ours for years. I (Michael) used to take pictures of my friends on old disposable cameras before I truly learned the art behind the lens. The way light dances, the perfect balance of exposure, and the warmth of color tones—these are just a few of the brushstrokes I use to paint with my camera. I currently work for a local school district, capturing the excitement of our students both inside the classroom and out.

I (Amy) have no professional photography experience, but I love capturing moments—especially of our two dogs. As a registered nurse for 15 years, my job keeps me busy, but photography has become a creative outlet for me. Lately, I’ve been designing sets for our photos, which has been a fun learning experience in following trends and figuring out what works well. Of course, not every idea goes as planned—some have needed adjustments. I’m always thinking ahead, planning what we’ll need for upcoming events!
