As we moved the clocks back an hour this past weekend, we would like to take some time to thank all of the clients who have booked with us these past couple of months! You really took advantage of the beautiful weather we had this summer that lasted late into the fall!
We had some amazing firsts over the summer and into the fall that has really made this photography adventure so much fun as we close out our first year as a business and LLC!
This summer, we spent the second Wednesday of each month set up at Amherst’s Walking on Wednesday and would like to thank everyone who stopped by, said hi or booked a session thru meeting us there! It was so great meeting our community and providing the opportunity for photos!
Business Branding
Recently, we had a very creative and artistic opportunity to do a branding session with The Crow’s Moon Apothecary. Since we are a very small business with a lot of flexibility, we have the ability to work with our clients to make their vision come to life.
For this branding session, we met Nikki at the location of her choice utilizing the beautiful Lorain County Metroparks. We started in the evening and stayed after sunset to capture the beauty of October’s full moon. And wow…the photos were amazing!
If you are looking for tarot readings, reiki, crystals or other forms of healing and grounding energy work, please check out Nikki’s services and website.

Senior Portrait Sessions
We had 2 incredible senior sessions this fall at 2 very unique locations:
Lilly - I first met Lilly as a baby! I’ve been friends with her parents for many years and it was so wonderful to see her all grown up. Where has the time gone? I can’t believe it is her senior year! She is so sweet and so pretty.
She chose a very unique, seasonal location - Blooming Roots Farm. With over 3 acres and 4000 blooms, we had some amazing opportunities to capture her vision. Bonus, we got to cut a small bouquet as we went to showcase in her pictures as well.

Carson is on the Amherst Marion Steele hockey and tennis teams, but he also wanted to showcase his scooter and car! We used the Amherst Depot as our location backdrop for his photos.

Family Sessions
Again we would like to thank the families that trusted us to deliver their multigenerational keepsakes this fall. We had 4 large families and 1 family session that included two very cute and sweet dogs (shhh, don’t tell our dogs I said that). We had so much fun meeting and working with you and your family!
Family Fun
In between this all, we provided a cute video for a friend’s daughter’s wedding! This beautiful couple recently moved to Texas, but are originally from Ohio and came back to Ohio to have the wedding at a beautiful location here in Lorain county (if anyone is looking to book a wedding, message me and I’ll give you the venue name). I’ve been friends with the bride’s mom for many years so this was a fun day seeing all the faces to the stories I’ve been following all grown up!
Check out the video here:
We are still getting the funds for our professional videography equipment - each booking is helping us reach this goal so it is coming! Stay tuned to our website and social media pages for videography packages.
Birthday Fun
Over the summer, we had a very hot outdoor football session and we enlisted the help of a media student who will be taking her talents to University of Akron in 2026 (much to Amy’s dismay as a Kent State grad).
As a way to say THANK YOU for jumping in and taking control of the session when we both felt like we were gonna pass out from the sun and heat, we gifted her with birthday pics recently and she did not disappoint! She showed up with the look, ALL the poses, and the cake. Girl boss mode…activated!
Here are some of the fun photos from this session:
Another fun announcement, Mike attended a workshop for dance photos and tested out what he learned on an amazing group of dancers, Titans Dance Company. For the first time doing photos like these, I think he did a great job showcasing the beautiful lines and talents.
We were given permission to share the following photos and we wish Titans Dance Company the best as they perform Nov 2025 at Playhouse Square!
Christmas Minis!
We announced our Christmas minis and released our dates, times and booking link. Please sign up, if you haven’t done so.
We are going to do 2 different sets on Saturdays and Sundays.

Sundays:
We also want to pay it forward this holiday season with a charity dear to our hearts. When signing up, enter the comment “blanket” for $25 off your session fee. All you have to do is bring a new baby blanket to your confirmed session and we will credit your $25 off the final bill.
It is to honor the memory of a friend’s son and will be donated to University Rainbow Babies and Children NICU through Love for Lucas Benefit. If you want to read more about Love for Lucas, please go to Love for Lucas Benefit on Facebook.
Lucas was born with a very rare genetic condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), that made his skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wings. The simple touch, bath, or diaper change caused severe pain and internal bleeding. Lucas had the most severe type of EB. Lucas was given a soft baby blanket when he was in the NICU which helped his parents hold and comfort him. Every other year, his parents arrange a blanket drive to give back in his name. We will collect blankets and drop them off with a list of who donated and they will be given to the NICU on your behalf and in memory of Lucas. Through photos, we can provide comfort to a family during their stay in the NICU. Nice baby blankets are available for less than $25 on Amazon and at Walmart (I always cash my Kohl’s cash before it expires for baby blankets).
Thanks for taking the time to read our updated blog. It has been awhile since we have checked in. We hope everyone is doing well and we hope to see your smiling faces soon at one of our Christmas mini sessions!
